
Term: Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)Definition: Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC): SEAC is a statutory committee for all school boards. Its role is to make recommendations to the board in respect of any matter affecting the establishment and development of special education programs and services in respect of exceptional pupils of the board. Members are appointed by the school board. Membership includes three trustees, representatives of up to 12 local parent associations, and others.
