The Association for Bright Children of Ontario provides information and support to parents of bright and gifted children/adolescents through newsletters, networking, an annual conference and local workshops. It offers the parents' voice to local school boards, educators, professional groups and the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training.

The Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities. It offers many resources, services, information, venues and products designed to help people with LDs and ADHD, as well as parents, teachers, and other professionals.

The LDAO-C provides information and support to individuals, families and professionals and strives to increase public awareness and acceptance of children and adults with learning disabilities.

The Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities' (OCAPDD) purpose is to support community integration and personal well-being for children and adults with developmental disabilities within the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton.

The Ottawa Deaf Centre is a community organization serving Deaf, Deafened, and Hard of Hearing people and their families. The ODC offers programs, services and activities to meet the educational, recreational, social and cultural needs of this community.

OAFCCD is a provincial organization that helps families of children with communication disorders to help give their children a voice. OAFCCD members actively advocate for services and programs in the schools and in the community.
